Great to read. Can the same be done using Ubiquiti Nanostation NSM5 instead of the M2? B on November 22, 2016 at 10:40 am As long as you understand that an M5 is a 5Ghz radio, then yes. Reply Kenneth Krolikoski on December 1, 2016 at 10:53 am Easy peasy! Reply Bruce Fortier on December 14, 2016 at 5:43 pm David, Have been running the original version for 2 years now and love it. Zte axon 7 cheap B on December 14, 2016 at 5:52 pm Hi Bruce…You just need to purchase a NanoStation M5 (or M5 Loco) and set it up just like you did the M2. Reply Bruce Fortier on December 14, 2016 at 6:05 pm Thanks David. SO there is no device that will do both 2. Also what is the difference between the NS M5 and M5 Loco? B on December 14, 2016 at 6:12 pm Not in a NanoStation. There are two versions of each. Reply Bruce Fortier on December 14, 2016 at 10:08 pm Thanks David I am currently running firmware XM. B on December 14, 2016 at 11:14 pm There is not. Reply Bruce Fortier on December 15, 2016 at 10:14 am Ok Thanks. Reply Justin on December 30, 2016 at 8:50 pm Thanks for this tutorial.
B on December 30, 2016 at 8:54 pm Hi…You do know the M5 is a 5Ghz device and not a 2. First let me thank you for this information! B on January 13, 2017 at 12:06 pm You just need to know the splash page of the captive portal and you seem to have that. It should be as easy as connect NanoStaion, open browser, goto site and agree or pay or whatever.

B on February 10, 2017 at 8:23 pm Hi…The NanoStation M5 is, as mentioned, 5Ghz. Reply Craig on April 2, 2017 at 9:51 am David, I used your setup instructions for a wifi booster system including the ubiquiti m2 bullet titanium with the air gateway. Reply Nate on August 12, 2017 at 3:39 pm Is there a way to power this off 12v D. Instead of 120v ac? B on August 12, 2017 at 4:06 pm I am sorry, this is something I never really looked into. B on April 13, 2017 at 6:44 am Hi…This is likely due to the park running WEP encryption for the AP password.
Reply Craig on April 15, 2017 at 4:44 pm David, a followup question. B on April 15, 2017 at 6:05 pm You are protected behind a firewall in the AirGateway so people in the park can not get into your devices.

Thanks for the help. B on May 3, 2017 at 8:48 pm You surely will want to check with the park then. B on May 3, 2017 at 8:52 pm Oh, not sure how close you are to their Access Point, but you could be over powering it with the NanoStation. Reply Bryce jacobson on May 3, 2017 at 9:02 pm Dave, On the main page I have a signal strength of -58 db with the antenna pointed away from the wifi antennae, and -67 when pointed at it. B on May 3, 2017 at 9:51 pm That is the signal YOU are receiving.
B on May 8, 2017 at 5:04 pm Yes, you can use that and program it the same way as the NanoStation as it uses the same firmware. Reply Mike Croswell on June 13, 2017 at 7:17 pm Just wanted to thank you for this solution.

Thank you, Dave Reply David. B on July 1, 2017 at 9:21 am It does not boost the signal as that is 4G and thus requires something like the weboost Drive 4G-X RV.
